Child safety standards
Igodo is for adults, 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), on Igodo or anywhere.
Who Igodo is for
Membership requires a date of birth at registration, and under-18s cannot create an account.
Our standards
We prohibit any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any attempt to use Igodo to harm a child. This applies to every surface: profiles, connects, circles and messages.
Reporting
Every member, connect and message can be reported in the app. Reports reach our team for review and we act on them, including removing content, removing members, and preserving evidence where required.
What we do
Violating content is removed and violating accounts are terminated. We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and applicable regional bodies, in line with the law.
